Ayse Tanman focuses on simple and timeless forms with ceramics that she creates by hand. Tableware becomes objects of art with the artist's touch.

Spherical forms inspired by nature's abundance and richness stand out in her body of work. She treats bowls as sculptures, which take on new meanings with different displays.

The colour palette, as well as the forms, takes inspiration from nature. Earthy natural tones, whites, shades of brown, turquoise are the most prominent colours. 

Ayse Tanman is a ceramic artist based in Istanbul. Since 2012 she has been focusing on one-of-a kind ceramics under the name Ayşe Tanman Ceramics.
